El motor de búsqueda por internet Google rindió este viernes un homenaje al artista Charlie Chaplin al transformar el logotipo de su pagina principal en una película muda.
Al hacer “click” en el logotipo, conocido como el “Google doodle” (garabato Google), se inicia una película muda actuada al estilo Chaplin por los miembros del equipo 'doodle'.
Google señaló que el homenaje a Chaplin, nacido el 16 de abril de 1889, es su primer vídeo actuado, que fue creado por el equipo “Google doodle” con la ayuda del Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum.
“Esperamos que nuestro homenaje haga que la gente hable de su trabajo (de Chaplin) y las muchas virtudes del cine mudo”, dijo el 'doodler' Ryan Germick en un blog.
Google, con sede en Mountain View, California (oeste de Estados Unidos), a menudo cambia su colorido logotipo para marcar aniversarios, hechos significativos o rendir homenaje a artistas, científicos, estadistas y otros.
